Bishop David Ngari alias Gakuyo, who was known to be a fierce critic of President William Ruto, has now made a sudden u-turn on his support on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
In a statement via The Star Kenya on Twitter, Gakuyo urged the ODM leader to abandon his planned demonstrations and instead join President Ruto in championing for peace in the country.
Gakuyo refered to the Head of State as a hero since unlike Raila and Kalonzo who appointed their children to lucrative positions, he made sure that each part of the country had a leader in his government.

Gakuyo further urged President William Ruto to remain strong and not be intimidated by Raila's move of causing disunity among Kenyans.
"We will not allow a few selfish leaders like Raila Odinga to destroy our nation, we are now fully behind William Ruto who was chosen by God to lead this nation," said Gakuyo.
