The second in command deputy president William Ruto today conducted a meeting with religious leaders and influential leaders in Karen. According to deputy president William Ruto, the meeting entailed educating people on the importance of maintaining peace and unity in our country through helping each other.
Leaders present in the meeting included Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok, Aden Duale (Garissa Town), Katoo Ole Metito (Kajiado South), George Kariuki (Ndia), Nixon Korir (Lang’ata), Gladys Shollei (Uasin Gishu) and Patrick Munene (Chuka/Igambang'ombe), Kipchumba Murkomen ( Elgeyo Marakwet), Kimani Ichungwah ( Kikuyu) Isaac Mwaura and others.
Religious leaders present in DP Ruto's meeting prayed for the leaders after which they conducted their discussion on matters entailing UDA party ahead of 2022 general elections. DP Ruto also urged UDA aspirants that the election will be fare and transparent to everyone and therefore they should feel comfortable while in that party.
