When Nairobi residents complained of loud noises from clubs, restaurants and bars, Nairobi county government decided to warn them against this and they were supposed to take precautions and reduce the noise.This could not stop forcing governor Sakaja to act.
He later on revoked licences for all night clubs and banned night clubs in Nairobi.They were then asked to operate upto 10pm with reduced or minimum noise.The order was not taken in forcing him yesterday to flag off thousand security officers to walk around and check if they carrying out his orders.
With Kenyans still divided on this especially Nairobians, president William Ruto has promised to support governor Sakaja to make sure the noise is stopped for good.
President William Ruto has said that governor Sakaja should keep the noise away from their kids and he has the government's support on this.Yesterday, alot of people in Nairobi were forced to go home and leave clubs after security officers were send to do their patrol.
