The election of Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto as Kenya's presidents in 2017 and 2022, respectively, was declared by him.
Today, Azimio revealed the position that President Ruto wants to give to Chebukati through their former minority leader in the National Assembly, Hon. Junet. In a video that the Kenyans.co.ke website shared, Junet Mohammed claimed that Ruto now wishes to appoint Chebukati as the chief justice of the court of appeal.
According to Junet, Dr. William Ruto's goal is to seize control of the courts in a similar manner to how he did the IEBC. One of the prerequisites for becoming the IEBC Chairperson is having served as a high court justice in the past, which applies to Chebukati.
