Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance candidate for the position Senate in Bungoma, Honorable Wafula Wamunyinyi has accused the Ford Kenya of having marked ballot papers.
He has also claimed that the Ford Kenya party leadership is bribing the voters in the queue as they line up to vote for their preferred candidate.
He has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to take up the matter and investigate. Hon Wamunyinyi is Azimio's preferred candidate to succeed the National Assembly Speaker Hon Moses Wetangula.
Hon Wetangula cast his vote this morning. Political leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza Government have rubbished the claims by the Azimio candidate Wamunyinyi.
They have termed the complaints a sense of defeat. The casting is set to end at 060p hours. David Wakoli is a competitor flying the Ford Kenya flag.
IEBC has assured the residents of Bungoma and the political leaders of free and fair elections.
