The president of our country Hon Uhuru Kenyatta has today landed in Nyeri county where he will be meeting with some leaders. According to the news which was shared by state house on the social media platforms, the president will be meeting with Kirinyaga leaders where they will be arranging on how the celebration will be.
The president was welcomed by some leaders including the Kirinyaga Governor Hon Anne Waiguru. President Uhuru Kenyatta landed in the morning with his military chopper. The leaders who welcomed him n the county includes Karanja Kibicho, Fred Matiangi and Eugene Wamalwa. The Mashujaa Day celebrations will be held at Wang'uru stadium in Mwea where the president will be the guest of honor.The meeting is currently ongoing at the sagana state lodge where president Uhuru Kenyatta is sharing some information to the leaders. Despite that, the celebration will be attended by few people due to the covid-19 pandemic which is spreading across the country. Remember to wear mask and maintain social distance so that we can overcome this deadly disease called covid-19 in our country.
