The body responsible for conducting elections in Kenya has provided a list of presidential aspirants that will not contest for Aug 9th general elections. The IEBC has disqualified 11 politicians from contesting in the August 9 presidential race after they failed to submit the names of their running mates before the May 16 deadline.
Some of the popular names in the list include ANC's Musalia Mudavadi, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and Lengala David William of Jirani Mzalendo party.
The remaining other Eight presidential aspirants names which are the Independent aspirants have also been disqualified as shown in the picture below.
Aspirants like the ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi have already made their mind concerning the next Aug 9th general elections. The western leader has already joined the Kenya kwanza Alliance coalition under the leadership of the Deputy president Dr William Ruto. He has already been given a role in the coalition which he must achieve.
