Deputy President William Ruto was on Tuesday December 7 forced to lecturer a section of Laikipia residents who heckled at the county's Woman Representative Cate Waruguru and caused tension during his rally.
This did not sit well with the DP owing to the fact that it was Waruguru who had invited him to Laikipia few days after she ditched Jubilee party for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
"Wacheni upuzi, pangeni mkutano yenu, hamtakuja kupiga kelele kwa mkutano yangu, sitakubali. Please tuwe na nidhamu, kila mtu apange mkutano yake, tuheshimiane (stop the shenanigans, plan your own rally, I will not allow you to come and make unnecessary noise during my meeting. Let them organize their own. We must respect each other)," posed agitated Ruto.
Earlier in the day Ruto had whoever had successful rallies were he called upon the residents to support his presidential bid in 2022, assuring them that he will complete the projects started by his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He also reinstated his sentiments that the bottom-up economic model has the solutions for the current problems.
