William Ruto Message To Uhuru After Being Declared Kenya's 5th President.

President elect Willie Ruto acknowledged outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta in his acceptance speech following his announcement as the election's victor on August 9.

Ruto expressed gratitude for the ten years he spent working with President Kenyatta, saying he would carry on the legacy they built together with Uhuru, despite their severe conflict in the lead up to the general election.

Ruto said at the Bоmas of Kenya, I want to acknowledge my employee, resident of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta, who has worked with me in a variety of ways over the last ten years.

I want to pledge to Kenyans that I will continue to advance this nation and build on the foundation that President Kenyatta and I laid.

Ruto won the presidential election after receiving 7,176,141 votes or 50.49 percent of the total cast votes.

6,942,930 votes were cast on the zimio Lа Umоjа ne Kenyа co election party raila ward accounting for 48 percent of the total votes cast.
