Said Abdalla Joho officially began his Nyali parliamentary campaigns today. The youthful aspirant joined Raila Odinga lobby group from Mombasa county in encouraging them to turn out in large numbers to register as voters.
Mr. Abdalla popularly known as Saido traversed different parts of Nyali constituency popularizing his 2022 parliamentary candidature. He was accompanied by his supporters from Nyali constituency.
" Next Nyali MP Said Salem alias Saido with Warembo na Raila on a ground door to door tour encouraging Nyali voters to turn out in large numbers to register as voters" wrote Mombasa ODM team on its official Facebook page.
Abdalla Joho joined politics in 2017. He defeated the incumbent Nyali legislator Mohammed Ali in ODM party primaries. The youthful leader eventually lost to Mohammed Ali in the August polls.
Legislator Mohammed Ali has defected to deputy president William Ruto led UDA party. The two youthful leaders will meet again in the upcoming elections.
Former Nyali legislator Hezron Awiti is also in the race. Hezron Awiti was defeated by Mohammed Ali in 2017 polls. He won the seat as an independent candidate.
