Jubilee Vice-Chairman David Murathe and a major critic of Deputy President William Ruto has issued contentious remarks of DP Ruto's presidency revealing what he expects from both DP and the Orange Democratic movement Party Leader Raila Odinga.
David Murathe has been quoted by the Nation reacting to what recently transpired where the ODM admitted to having sent their Deputy Party leader to meet with Deputy President William Ruto in what has come out as a possible alliance ahead of 2022.
According to Murathe, he has said that he fully supports Raila Odinga's statehouse bid informing that he finds no problem with Raila-Ruto uniting only that he wants the ODM leader to succeed President Uhuru.
Murathe has said that if only DP Ruto wants to enter an alliance with Raila Odinga then they should support him as Kenya's next president informing they will not endorse the vice versa.
"And by the way - tongue-in-cheek – if they want an alliance, provided they make Jakom the president, we have no problem with it. That's the only thing we may want to know because our job is to make sure the country is peaceful and that the legacy of a united country is kept," Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe said.
The Jubilee Vice-Chairman has however said that he won't believe the alleged Raila Odinga, DP Ruto's alliance informing that he expects that soon the ODM leader will open up on the same.
" I am waiting to hear from Raila Odinga if he is in secret talks with Ruto," David Murathe added.
