President Ruto fires Back to opposition leaders.

President William Ruto through his Twitter official account has come out clearly to criticize opposition leaders led by Raila odinga on petition failed by Deniss Nthumbi to parliament on the removal of the 4 indipendent electoral and boundaries commission.

President Ruto said, "the lords of impunity, who destroyed oversight institutions using the handshake fraud, should allow parliament to hold rogue officials who put the nation in danger by subverting the democratic will of the people to be held to account. New order is RULE of LAW not wishes of big men."

This comes a day after Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga asked the four IEBC commissioners who rejected the results of the August 9 Presidential election to boycott summons to appear before the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee for a hearing on four petitions filed against them.

According to Mr Odinga, the current problems confronting the four namely; IEBC Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera, commissioners Irine Masit, Justus Nyangaya, and Francis Wanderi are part of the current administration's plan to influence the 2027 elections.

“This probe is politically motivated; it is a continuation of the witch-hunt mission that Ruto is on. We advise the commissioners to boycott it in the interest of constitutionalism and rule of law,” Odinga said.

He stated that the Ruto administration is eager to replace the four commissioners with those who will help them win the 2027 elections.Mr Odinga also claimed that the Ruto administration has trained its guns on those it believes are unlikely to dance to its tune in 2027.
