"Raila can make a good president but age is not on his side" Mutua about Raila's presidency

Maendeleo chap chap party leader and Machako's governor Alfred Mutua has finally spoken about his feelings about Odinga presidency in the country. Speaking with one media house in the country on Friday 22, Mutua said 2022 general elections is a two horse race between ODM leader Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto.

However, he went ahead and spoke on the weaknesses both candidates have. For Odinga, Mutua said he admires Odinga and feels he could lead this country well the only issue is Odinga's age, which he says is the greatest impending issue.

“Raila can make a good President, but age is not on his side, and he has been captured by people who have diverse interests. If I was not running for president, I would vote for him," Alfred Mutua.

Mutua took a swipe at Dp Ruto who he says he can't trust to run this country.

"Ruto, on the other hand, is a person I would not wish to see steering this country. Having served as a government spokesperson during Kibaki’s regime, I know the things he stands for,” Mutua said.

Mutua used the same platform to campaign for his presidency ambitions.
