Wavinye Ndeti is one of the aspirant in Machakos County governor race position trough the Wiper Party. The aspirant had some difficulty after some claim that he had some fake academic details but later approved to vie.
There was a large debate between the Wavinye Ndeti and Nzioka Waita on who should step down for the other one.
Azimio La Umoja' s One Kenya Coalition party has endorsed Wavinya Ndeti for Machakos governor.
Wavinya Ndeti stated that her opponent, CCU leader Nzioka Waita, should not be forced to resign for her.
Ndeti expressed confidence that she will defeat Nzioka Waita in the upcoming General Election in August.
These came after Kalonzo suggested that there might be coalition talks to persuade Waita to abandon his plans for Wavinya.
Wavinya Ndeti, a Wiper Party gubernatorial candidate in Machakos, has told Azimio la Umoja leader to stop pressuring former state house chief of staff Nzioka Waita to withdraw from the gubernatorial race.
Ndeti told the Azimio leaders that she was ready to fight Waita in the upcoming General Election on August 9, and that they should not force him to step down for her.
Despite being in the same coalition as Waita, Ndeti maintained that she was not intimidated by him.
" Do not take him out of the race; I will deal with him first thing in the morning on that day. . . " I don' t fear him, " Ndeti said on July 3rd.
Waita, who is running under the Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party, was accused of intimidating the politician.
Both Wiper and CCU are members of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition party, which has seen significant sibling rivalry in the governorship race.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka recently stated that there may be internal discussions within the party to persuade Waita to abandon his ambitions for Wavinya because she was the strongest candidate in the region.
" Mimi nina furaha ya kuona team ya Wiper iko strong, muwaangalie vizuri, muwaangalie vizuri. " Vijana wetu hao wengi. My friend Bwana Nzioka, I will speak with him. " Wavinya ako sawa sawa, " Musyoka explained.
Waita, for his part, dismissed the proposals, telling Kalonzo to stay out of the Machakos gubernatorial race.
