The family of a security analyst and a former KDF officer Mwenda Mbijiwe has pleaded with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to honour his promise of helping them to locate their son who went missing mysteriously.
According to the sources, Mbijiwe had gone missing on 12th June 2021 after he disappeared mysteriously on his way to Meru to his mother's home.
Reportedly, his hired car was later found abandoned in the Ruiru area.
The DP Rigathi Gachagua during the campaign period had pledged to assist Mbijiwe in being released from his captors.
His mother Jane Gatwiri claims that she has suffered hypertension following the stress and sleepless nights she's gone through ever since her son went missing.
Currently, it's now 15 months and 8 days and the family is losing hope of seeing their son again.
