President William Ruto nominated several candidates for the job of Cabinet Secretary, and those candidates had interviews on Tuesday.
Professor Kithure Kindiki, Moses Kuria, Njuguna Ndungu, and Aisha Jumwa were among those questioned today.

The vetting committee questioned Jumwa about how she obtained a university degree while receiving a form four D Minus grade.
Jumwa stated in her statement that receiving a D Minus or any other grade should not constitute a person's ultimate failure in life.

Abraham Mutai, a blogger for Azimio, commented on Aisha Jumwa's vetting today regarding the grade she received for her form four schooling.
Aisha Jumwa and Mutai both agreed that receiving a D-minus in a one-day exam shouldn't be the defining moment in someone's life, according to Mutai's Facebook post.
Additionally, Mutai stated that no one who received a D- should allow themselves to be branded as failures and undesirable members of society.

Different emotions were expressed by Kenyans in their responses to Mutai's statement.
