Nyandarua residents have said that lies of them scrambling for food at Ruto's home in karen are being spreas by MP Kanini Kega. Rumours spreading in social media claimed that the the meeting between the deputy president and tge people of Nyandarua was disrupted after they started scrambling for food.
The residents claim that the rumuors were being spread by the DP's political rivals who have no information of what happened.
According to citizen TV, the Mp Kanini Kega had been spreading rumuors about the DP and the residents warned him.
"Kanini Kiega should stop speaking on behalf of us. We are capable of speaking for ourselves," Betty Muchina a resudent stated.
"We went there to see the deputy president and we did not fight for food," David Mwangi, another resident said.
It is alleged that most of the residents lost shoes and hair in the scramble for the food.
