Days after the Muranga senator Irungu Kang’ata had written a letter to the president about Building Bridges Initiative and the reality on the ground in the Mt Kenya region, the lawmaker faced criticisms from the BBI supporters affiliated to the Jubilee party especially the Kieleweke team.
The lawmaker today decided to speak out to those who ate opposing his move of telling the president about the state of Mt Kenya concerning BBI. The lawmaker was termed as inexperienced by Amos Kimunya in a local media station for his act of writing to the president. Taking to his Twitter handle, the senator shared a touching scripture that was shared in the church service he attended today at an ACK church that his grandparents go to. " Today I attended service at ACK church in Kiairathe village, my grandparent's village of Kangema Constituency. The teachings were on biblical verse John 8.32 - the truth will set you free," said Kang'ata.
However, the indirect response to his critics comes at a time when he is man of the moment getting praise and critics with equal measure. a screenshot of the Twitter post is shared below. Thanks for reading.
