Honorable Fred Matiang'i is the current Kenyan Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. This is the office he assumed on the 7th July, 2017 after the sudden death of General Nkaissery as the acting cabinet secretary. By then he was serving as the cabinet secretary for the ministry of education, science and technology. Hence held the two positions until the following year when dropped the ministry of education, science and technology and fully assumed his current office.
Dr. Fred Matiang'i has made a very big impact on both of the ministries. He was able to dismantle cheating which was deeply rooted in the country's education system during his years of service.
He has continued serving with utmost commitment and vigor in the interior and coordination of national government. He has restored respect and peace in the Kenya Police.
He has done all that for Kenyans with a brave and sincere heart. He truly was born to be a leader. Such individuals who sacrifice a lot for civilians need to be applauded. They are hard to find and therefore Kenyans are lucky to have found such a gem leading a very sensitive ministry.
Let us wish him well as he continue to endeavor more.
