The government of Kenya has been distributing Asrazeneca vaccines across the counties in order to deal with ravanges of the Covid 19 pandemic. The 1.02 million doses of the vaccine arrived at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, Nairobi on Wednesday March 3, 2021. While, Kenya's Ministry Of Health kicked off its deployment plan for vaccine which were prioritized for Frontline health workers and essential staff such as security personnel and teachers.
Several counties have received the Coronavirus vaccine. While, today Meru Senator Linturi has urged the people of Meru to embrace the vaccine and ignore the speculations about it. He added that the vaccine is available in different hospitals in the county such as Nyambane and several others.However, while these vaccines are being rolled out, please let us continue the public health measures in place such as proper wearing of face masks,the social distancing, washing of hands with soap and running water and avoiding congested gatherings and settings.
