Dr Roselyne Akombe Finally Breaks Silence in the Ongoing Laikipia Banditry, Triggers a hot Debate

The former IEBC commissioner Dr Roselyne Akombe has finally broken silence in the ongoing strife in Ol-Moran, Laikipia. Akombe, who ran outside the country due to electoral fraud and fear, still remains instrumental in the country's diplomacy after her return three years later.

While raising her voice into the matter, Akombe has now claimed the ongoing clashes in Laikipia is as a result of the blanket victimization of communities. And according to her the armed forces are simply demanding their land and access to water; which she says it's not banditry.

 "Demanding for your land & access to water is not banditry! It is urgent to address the land question." She has stated.

While engaging sound minded leaders, Akombe has triggered a contentious debate online. A section of Kenyans have now claimed that the ongoing strife has much to do with politics than just drought and land. That the conservancy have been in existence for decades alluding that those marauding guys with powerful rifles are not from Laikipia.
