This follows after Sang averred that Kosgei would make a good senator if residents elected him in the next polls.

He asserted that he had given his blessings to the lawmaker as he plans to take the incumbent Samson Kiprotich Cherargei head on in the election.
"I heard that your MP here wants to run for senatorial seat in 2022....Let me endorse you as I wish you well," he said.
The youthful governor claimed that Kosgei became his favourite even though the MP had failed to appear in public for sometime to attend the needs of Emgwen constituency residents.
According to him, Kosgei had managed to traverse the whole county, visiting residents and informing them of his 2022 senatorial ambitions.
Sang took a swipe at senator Cherargei for exhibiting incompetence in his legislative and oversight role in the House. Also, he bashed him for spreading malicious rumours aimed at tainting his name.
"His job is to move from one end of the county to another, gossiping me," he said.
This comes as governor Sang church's under fire from all National Assembly MPs from the countu some MCAs and senator for allegedly failing to tame corruption in his administration.
