Deputy President William Ruto isn't slowing down for anyone in his quest to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta. Today, Ruto had a meeting with Governor's at his Karen residence for the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC).
Those in attendance included of; Gov Martin Wambora, Gov Mureithi Nderitu, Gov Stanley Kiptis, Gov Jospat Nanok, Gov Paul Chepkwony, Gov Anyang Nyong'o, Gov Jackson Mandago, Gov Ann Waiguru and Dr Hillary Barchok.
Several independent commissions were present and they included of; Comptroller of Budget Dr Margaret Nyakango, Chairperson Commission of Revenue Allocation Dr Jane Kiringai, CS Devolution Charles Keter, PS Treasury Dr Julius Muia and PS Devolution Julius Korir.
After this meeting, deputy president William Ruto then proceeded to welcome Law Society of Kenya LSK president Nelson Havi into UDA. Having is seeking the Westlands, Nairobi MP seat come 2022.
Ruto then left Nairobi for Narok where he was welcomed by a multitude of Narok residents moments after he touched down.
