Professor Wajackoyah Open To Working With Raila Odinga

The 2022 Presidential race has for a long time been poised to be battle between Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto. The two have a long rivalry that goes back to the Grand Coalition Government when the two worked together in the Orange Democratic Movement.

It is because of this that other contestants in the August Presidential race have been overlooked. One such figure is Professor George Luchiri Wajackoyah who is running on the Roots Party ticket.

The Professor has of recent captured the minds of Kenyans because of his radicle campaign pledges which includes legalisation of bhang for commercial and recreational purposes.

Wajackoyah seems to be going all out for the Presidency and was yesterday in Kisumu County popularising his Presidential bid. While on the campaign trail, Wajackoyah extended an olive branch to the ODM leader and said that he was ready to work with him if he won the elections. According to Wajackoyah, the reason for this is that they hail from the same region.

This is the first time Wajackoyah has hinted at working with his opponent and has had Kenyans talking. Maybe the Roots Party leader could shelve his Presidential ambitions and back Raila Odinga for the top seat. Only time will tell.
