Details Emerge How Kenya Kwanza Alliance Will Neutralize Azimio Dominance In The Parliament

When Uhuru's term finishes, Kenyans will get to decide who will take over in the next days. This has happened at long last after months of a feverish political effort.

Every single person in the country either took part in or at least noticed the various political events that took place as candidates canvassed for support. Within the following few hours, the IEBC will announce the official results.

The struggle for control of the House of Representatives is heating up, and it looks like neither side will emerge victorious regardless of who wins the presidency. The good news is that this is true.

Keep in mind that since the Constitution of 2010 went into effect, this is the first time there has been a stalemate in the legislature. With 162 elected members of parliament, Azimio la Umoja is currently in the lead, while Kenya Kwanza lags in second place with 159 MP. Despite Azimio's current advantage, neither side will have an outright majority since Kenya Kwanza, the largest individual party will give the bulk of the 12 nominated MPs to UDA. As a result, Kenya Kwanza will cancel out any advantages Azimio might have had.
