Dp Ruto visits Kirinyaga county in the company of Waiguru and Ngirici.Governor Ann Waiguru and Ngirici today set their differences aside to welcome DP Ruto. The two leaders are eyeing for the gubernatorial seat come 2022 general elections.
There was tension today after Waiguru and Ngirici supporters confronted each other and blocked the kutus-Kianthanga road. Ngirici supporters set posters and reflectors distributed by the Waigurus team. Waiguru and Ngirici set their differences aside to welcome the deputy president. He sensitized on his Bottom-up Agenda and promised to create employment for the youth of Kirinyaga.
The DP advised the youth and urged them to refrain from being used as bait for political leaders. He promised his party members free and fair nominations come 2022 to ease tension between Waiguru and Ngirci. What happens after the nomination is still in the unknown. Finally, we hope that Kenyans will refrain from violence and incitement as we get closer to the 2022 general elections.
