Ruto's hunt for the populous mountain region votes has today continued in Kiambaa Constituency in Kiambu county where he took the entire hustlers campaigns team to woo voters into his train.
Accompanied by members of Parliament from the region Rigathi Gachagua, Kimani Inchungwah, Ndindi Nyoro among others, the DP attended a church service at Latter Glory Church Gachie, Kiambaa Constituency before a holding a mega rally at Gachie.
On his way from the church, hundreds of youths, women groups and residents of Gachie Market were eagerly awaiting for his convoy to passby. The crowd blocked his convoy as he passed through the market pleading with him to atleast adress them.
A happy Ruto was seen emerging from the top of his campaign vehicle while waving at the crowd. Waving was not enough, they badly wanted him to hear out their cries at the same time listen to what he has in store for them if his 2022 presidential bid materializes.
An optimistic Ruto promised to look into the problems raised locals making reference to the other government infrastructural projects that he launched in Kiambaa.
He went on and appealed to the crowd to make sure that they have registered with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission so that they propel him to statehouse when time comes in 2022. He drummed up support for his bottom up approach as the best model ever while pointing fingers at Raila's social economic welfare approach.
It is after the address that the crowd calmed down and let the vehicles pass through.
