Political Expert Professor Herman Manyora has urged President William Ruto to save this country fro chaos and uncertainty if the Monday's mass action by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance camp, by reaching out to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Through his You Tube Page on Saturday, the University of Nairobi Lecturer opined that both Ruto and Rail can have a sit down and address the demands the opposition has been listing, saying that does not amount to an handshake, or make President Ruto appear as a coward.
In his remarks, Manyora held the view that Kenya is bigger than the two leaders, and it is time they reduce their egos and unite the country for the sake of the Kenyan children and grand children.
"I want to tell both President Ruto and Raila Odinga that this country which belongs to your children and grand children is too good to go down. I want to ask President Ruto to take his phone and call Raila Odinga."
"Let people call you a coward but save the country from crying later. This is a situation that cannot be managed by just sitting pretty. Let these two gentlemen reconsider their bold stands."
Listen to Manyora, from minute 16:51.
