The President today was as at Central Vaccine Deport, Kitengela in Kajiado to flag off the distribution of vaccines across the country. In a short speech, President Uhuru Kenyatta thanked The World Health Organization and UNESCO for their efforts to make sure Kenya lands vaccines joining countries like Nigeria who had already acquired their fast batch. The vaccination campaign is expected to start tomorrow and the President urged Kenyans to adhere to health protocols to curb the spread of the corona virus.
Uhuru Kenyatta has stayed away from elections as he had promised that his final term will be focusing on improving the living standard of Kenyans and executing development projects. Voting is going on in various parts of the country in the by-elections scheduled today. Up to now lots of drama has been witnessed from Jubilee MPs who are defending the UDA aspirants in the different polling stations.
