Deputy president also took that opportunity to talk about constitutional amendment bill commonly known as Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Deputy president said constitution should not be used to divide kenyans as it is sacred contract between the people of Kenya, "Let us not use constitution to divide people that there are those in this camp and their are others in the other camp," said Dp Ruto.
"Instead let us use the opportunity that now exist in parliament for any contentious issues to be removed. matters to do with undermining judiciary such as 'Obundisman' should be rectified and removed," he added.
Dp Ruto also said it is possible to have a win-win document and a non contested referendum. He fired shot to his opponents saying that it is not time for competition. He told them to wait until 2022 if they want any competition.
This firm stand has left many wondering as it was expected that deputy president will lead a NO campaign.
