Is Raila Copying Dr William Ruto? Here is What He Did in Lamu Today

You cannot speak of the current political trends without mentioning Raila Odinga and Deputy President Dr. William Ruto. The two senior politicians have won the hearts of majority of Kenyans and they are expected to face each other come next year August.

The former ODM's Pentagon principals are in the race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta. For almost two years now, DP Ruto has been touring the country to sell his bottom-up economic model approach.

Last month, when touring the coastal region, Dr William Ruto rode on a donkey in what turned out to be called by Kenyans a “triumphant entry at the coast”.

Today, during his visit to Lamu county at the coastal region, Hon Raila Odinga decided to take a ride on a donkey. His move has made UDA supporters feel that Ruto has become a political pacesetter in Kenyan politics.
