Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga carved a niche for herself in the political sphere when she was nominated by the Jubilee Party to represent women.
The word hustle defines Millicent Omanga. Not only is she a politician, but she is also a businesswoman and a self-taught interior decorator at heart.
Despite owing her political fortunes to President William Ruto, who also helped her land a job at KenGen as a director, Omanga built her own company from scratch, eventually qualifying for multi-million shilling contracts.
Previously, she was a hawker in the streets, dealing with bedsheets bought from wholesalers and selling them at a profit, but now she is her own boss.
Millicent Omanga has launched her multi-million interior decor business in Kilimani, Nairobi! Her Kilimani company specializes in commercial interior design for a number of sectors, including hospitality, office, medical, retail, education, and others.
She is considered a close ally of President Ruto and was central to his campaign plans in Nairobi,as her name was short listed for the CAS.
