A Presidential Leader That Kenyans Needs The Most

Kenyans have experienced leadership from different presidents since the country gained independence. It is also clear that each leader came with his own style of ruling which saw some changes implemented.

Based on the fact that most Kenyans are going through lots of difficulties such as inadequate employment opportunities, drought, hard economic times, high taxation and insecurity in some parts, a good number of them do wish to have a one-time presidential leader who will work hard to ensure everything goes on right.

First, Kenyans need a president who will eliminate corruption in all the sectors of the government. This is because corruption as a vice has played a role in retarding the growth of the country. In most cases few corrupt leaders get the chance to get rich quickly leaving millions of citizens poor and helpless. Therefore, a leader who will fight corruption until it ends is one that is needed by Kenyan citizens.

The second one is a leader who will put Kenyan resources into proper utilization. There are many resources that have been identified in various parts of the country such as gold and oil. When good management is done, Kenyans can benefit greatly from these resources because income generated after they are sold can be used to build schools, support the vulnerable in societies and construct new roads.

The last one is a leader who will help create more jobs so that Kenyans can earn money that will improve their livelihoods. A good example is a leader who will be able to support the idea of distributing industries in different counties so that people can have a quick access to jobs wherever they are.

Kenya has forty seven counties which are all governed by county governors. A good presidential leader will hold discussions with these governors and decide on what type of industry they can bring in every county. This will prevent people from traveling from miles away to go to one place to look for jobs that are sometimes unavailable.
