The Migori county governor's wife Hellen Obado is in the front line to fight for the women representative position in her county. She is vying for the women representative seat as an independent candidate.
However, Mrs Hellen Okoth is abit worried whether she will be voted for considering the failures of his husband honourable Obado Okoth. Migori county governor was previously accused of killing a university lady after impregnating her. Sharon Otieno was known to be having secret love affairs with Obado before her demise.
Mrs Hellen Okoth has therefore urged the people of Migori county to forget about the past and vote for her in the forthcoming elections. According to Mrs Obado, Migori county residents should not judge her over his husband's failures.
Hellen Obado therefore promised to work hand in hand with the Migori county residents to ensure Migori is transformed if only she emerge as a winner after the general elections. She also promised to fight for women's rights in her county.
