A good number of Cabinet Secretaries have been conducting their homecoming ceremonies months after being assigned ministerial roles by President William Ruto. A few weeks ago, Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba held his fete in Busia County. EAC CS Rebecca Miano also did the same in Nyandarua County. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was the Guest of Honor at Miano's ceremony.
This weekend, President Ruto will be visiting the backyard of Azimio La Umoja Movement's Raila Odinga. He will tour Kisumu, Homabay and Siaya counties. On 14th, Saturday, he will be in Siaya for the homecoming ceremony of ICT CS Eliud Owalo. Yesterday on Citizen TV, Owalo gave some details sorrounding this big day.
"It is just a thanksgiving, we have invited Kenyans from all parts of the country and I can assure you that it will be a good ceremony and we expect many people from all over." He was quoted.
Plans are underway in Siaya and there's even a billboard, welcoming the President that has been erected.
