President William Ruto has continued to put smiles on people's faces in the Nyanza region amid his differences with ODM leader Raila Odinga, who hails from the region.
"On behalf of H.E. the President, Dr William Samoei Ruto, I have this morning flagged off the distribution of relief food to the residents of Siaya at Awelo Open Air Grounds in Siaya Town.
"The distribution will focus on the vulnerable and underprivileged who are most affected by the drought situation," he said.
This is happening after the CS did the same in Migori County on Saturday.
During the exercise, the CS was accomplished by other leaders from the region, among them Suba South MP, Caroli Omondi, Former Rarieda MP, Nicholas Gumbo, former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, former Governor Jack Ranguma, UDA regional coordinator, Dianga Waore, Siaya County Commissioner, Jim Njoka among other local leaders.
Ruto is distributing food to Raila's political bedroom amid their recent fallout. They have been exchanging words on social media and at events. Raila is also set to launch countrywide rallies to reject the government's move to kick out 4 IEBC commissioners
