
Hussein Mohamed who is the spokesman in statehouse and one of Kenya Kwanza allies today tweeted on his twitter page that Statement on President @WilliamsRuto's two-day working tour of the Nyanza region that kicks off tomorrow. The tour will cover Kisumu, Homa Bay and Siaya Counties. Tomorrow, the President will launch the first phase of the 5,000 affordable housing programme for Homa Bay County. The project is expected to not only alleviate the housing deficit the county, but also significantly boost the local economy.

The President will also launch and inspect other projects in the region, including commissioning the newly completed Homa Bay Municipal Market. The project is crucial to the economic transformation of the county.
President @WilliamsRuto will also preside over the commissioning of the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) Blue Economy Research Hub.
The president is mostly welcome for the first time in decades, a president comes who is truly for everyone and not for his own political influence.
