The Sabaot community elders express their support ahead of the August general election as they endorse several leaders. Perhaps, the Western Kenya region is a mixed-up zone encompassing different political parties in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and the Azimio la Umoja.
Consequently, aspirants continue to consolidate their pursuits to win the August contest. However, the Azimio la Umoja Coalition brigades drum up support for Raila Odinga as they heighten to defend their various seats.
The race has created a robust political landscape as leaders aim to outwit each other. The political parties dominating the Western Kenya region include Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress (ANC), Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya, and the Democratic Party of Kenya.
Accordingly, the elders in the Mount Elgon constituency allegedly endorse the Democratic Party of Kenya aspirants including the Governor, Women representative, and the Senator for Bungoma County.
