He has however taken issues with Kirinyaga county governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru and other leaders who have been uttering sentiments that are likely to divide the nation.
Without mentioning her name, the deputy president William Ruto noted that he knows very well that the tribalism will come to an end this coming year.
He has since advocated for the unity of political parties ahead of the presidential elections saying that if Mount Kenya manages to do that, they will have their names in the books of history.
