President Kenyatta's replacement from August next year is becoming a bone of contention.Presidential hopefuls are busy traversing the country just to convince the electorates to vote for them when election will be held.Unfortunately,Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi is seeking to lock out corrupt individuals from next year's general election through parliament.
Odinga is seemingly the best President Kenyatta's bet.Since the President hinted at him being his replacement,he is slowly gaining momentum in the Mountain region which had previously perceived him negatively.Just yesterday, his Nyeri tour was successful ending up getting support from four Mount Kenya Governors.Today,Raila will be the guest of honour in the Mount Kenya Luncheon that had been postponed last week.
Odinga has ripped again. Finally,an agreement has been reached to have a Jubilee-ODM presidential campaign Secretariat. This will be a huge boost for Odinga. There have been questions as to why President Kenyatta has not come out clearly to support Odinga. However, political analystst say that it is still early.Hopefully, this joint move will now catapult Odinga's campaign strategy.
