"I Don't Fear Anybody, " Furious Kenyatta to Ruto

In a report via the Nation news source, President Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to kick out "fraudsters" from his government before he exits office in 2022.

In a jibe many have opined as aimed at his Deputy, the head of state didn't mince his words, reminding everyone of his authority by declaring he doesn't fear anybody.

“And I’ve said it before, that I’m not seeking votes again and will, therefore, ensure I’ve purged all fraudsters. Isn’t it? Do we agree on that? I don’t fear anybody and nobody should blame me for that. It’s time to work,” the head of state declared.

Uhuru's tough remarks come after the DP appeared to accuse him (Uhuru) of being among the people labeling him a "fraud" because he has decided to run for President in 2022.

“Now they’re calling me names, branding me a thief. When I supported Raila Odinga, they said I was dependable; when I supported Uhuru Kenyatta I was dependable. Today when I opt to make the jobless prosper, they label me a fraud. Are these not cons? To hell,” said the DP on Sunday while on the campaign trail.

Kenyatta and Ruto fell out several months ago, with the cause of their friction remaining a subject of speculation among Kenyans.
