The selection of running mate for the two mega coalition in Kenya will influence the way politic curve has been behaving. In the past few months ago the deputy president William Ruto was shinning all the way. Statistics show that the ODM leader Raila Odinga has only shined once in the polls conducted. The shining happened this month immediately he chose the Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua as his running mate.
In terms of politics, Karua has a large numbers of voters compared to the Kenya kwanza Alliance coalition running mate Rigathi Gachagua. This is clearly seen on the recent rallies that Martha Karua has been doing immediately she was announced as the Azimio la Umoja coalition running mate.
To add on that Martha Karua is more experienced in this field as compared to Gachagua. Karua has initial vied for presidency in the 2007 which he emerged as the third candidate after the results were announced.
