It is very difficult to know who will be the next president between Raila Odinga and William Ruto. The two have had massive support from across the country. All hope to clinch the top seat by all means. However,DP Ruto has kept on crying foul of a plan to rig him out in the coming presidential election. He has even written to IEBC to have ICT CS Joe Mucheru resign but the Government has given assurance of credible election.
Western Kenya is turning out to be one of the battlegrounds.Ruto bagged Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi with a hope of getting the votes from the region. This has seen Mudavadi being given a condition of getting 70% so as to benefit from the promise of 30% in Government slots if the team wins.
It is likely to be a toll order for Musalia to get the 70%.Raila Odinga and CS Wamalwa have reached a deal to lock out the KKA team out of Western Kenya. In the deal,ODM and DAP-Kenya parties will share positions on 50-50 basis.Trans Nzoia seats are purely preserved for DAP-Kenya party. Will Musalia manage the 70%?
