Moses Kuria Mocks Ukambani People Following The Mwingi Bus Tragedy

Moses Kuria, Gatundu South Member of Parliament attacked by Kenyans after his statement he made in his social media platform On Sunday, December 5. Moses Kuria pleaded with God to intervene Ukambani people.

According to his statement, Kuria stated that Ukambani People have been suffering from both drought and drastic floods. He further asked God to touch Ukambani leaders in order to do something about the things Ukambani people are passing through.

Through his Facebook account, Kuria stated, “ Dear God almighty, I dedicate this Sunday to your people in Ukambani. They are the only species on earth who die from lack of water and through drought and starvation and they also die from too much water through flooding. Now touch the hearts of their leaders so they do something about both."

This message elicited mixed reactions amongst Kenyans saying that Kuria is mocking Ukambani people . According to Kenyans, Kuria was supposed to sent his condolences to the bereaved without including Ukambani people. People angrily said that his message was personal and he should apologize.
