Good news to ODM Party leader Raila Odinga after Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho reveals that he is ready and willing to set aside his ambitions to battle for presidential position and support him.
Joho was saying this during the former prime Minister's visit in the coastal region where he met with ODM Party members in efforts to popularize his Amizo La Umoja ideology.
He added that the only way coastal region affairs will be brought on board is through the election of Raila as the president.
Joho also urged Raila to bring on board the coastal leaders so that the could be in the next Government and not observers and followers of the ruling team.
He went ahead to urge coastal leaders to unite as this will make them strong and their voice heard.
However Joho said that he may be on the presidential race only if ODM Party finds him suitable for the race and trust him in leading the nation.
Joho is serving his second and last term as Mombasa County Governor.
