On Wednesday evening, Deputy President William Ruto held a high profile meeting with leaders and politicians from Laikipia county.
The leaders were led by the United Democratic Alliance movement Party candidate for the governor's position Mr Joshua Irungu.
"We honour the Kenya Kwanza leadership in Laikipia County led by our Gubernatorial Candidate Joshua Irungu, Senate contender John Kinyua, Woman Representative aspirant Jane Kagiri and other candidates for their team spirit."https://t.co/mBJn6IXZzs
However during the meeting, the current Woman Representative Honourable Catherine Waruguru was conspicuously missing despite being a very close ally of His Excellency the deputy president William Ruto.
It is not yet clear if she was left out doring the invitation or the reason as to why she never attended the high profile meeting with the second in command.
This comes days after she was defeated in the race to be the next Laikipia East constituency Member of Parliament by the incumbent in the recently conducted United Democratic Alliance movement Party nominations.
