Ruto And Kangata Woken Up To A Morning Shocker As Latest Opinion Polls Placed Kangata at Position 3

The Deputy President, William Ruto, and his United Democratic Alliance party candidate, Irungu Kang'ata, should be concerned about a new trend shown by an opinion poll conducted by Mizani Africa between June 23 and June 27 in Murang'a County.

According to the Mizani Opinion Poll, the most popular candidate for governor in Murang'a County is Jamleck Kamau of the governing Jubilee Party. With 26.2% of the vote, Jamleck Kamau is in first place. Jamleck is succeeded by the Democratic Party candidate, Wairagu Wa Maai. Irungu Kang'ata has received terrible news, as it has been revealed that he is rated third in terms of popularity, with a rating of 25.5%.

This is unfavorable news for Kang'ata DP Ruto, as it appears that UDA may be losing support in Murang'a County, one of the most populous Mt Kenya counties.

The Mizani Africa poll also identifies the most popular candidates in the race for the Muranga Senate seat. Joe Nyutu is the most popular senatorial candidate in Murang'a with 49.2 percent of the vote, followed by Kembi Gitura with 42.1 percent.

Betty Maina would win the election for the post of Women's Representative with 49.6 percent of the vote, followed by Waithira Muithirania with 42.2 percent of the vote.
