Just four days after chaos were witnessed at Jacaranda Grounds where some people were injured, Azimio la Umoja presidential aspirant Raila Odinga's allies have been attacked in Marsabit county where they had gone to campaign for his presidential bid. Raila was in the company of other Azimio partners when the incident happened.
In a video that has been seen by this writer, the big crowd that had gathered to listen to the ODM leader failed to agree to what he was saying and started throwing objects at him as he stood on the podium. A few moments laters, stones started flying in the air and landed on the people who stood on the podium.
Raila's bodyguards jumped into action to protect their boss from the assault. They surrounded him and got hit instead of Raila. Police officers at the camapaigns also responded immediately as they forced the people to exit the stadium. Those that were caught red handed throwing stones were whipped mercilessly.
