Speaking to Inooro Tv, the vocal lawmaker has also admitted that 26 out of the the 30 available Mt Kenya political leaders who voted, vote in favour of Tharaka Nithi senator Kithure Kindiki against the six who endorsed him at DP Ruto's residence.
However, Gachagua has shared that currently the political leaders in the Mt Kenya region have accepted him as their deputy patron and he is tirelessly working to restore the unity of the region.
Gachagua has also warned that in the event Kenya Kwanza forms the next government of Kenya, he will not allow casual visit of political leaders at State House since he argues that they will be busy restoring the economy of Kenya and making policies to pay the current huge debts of the country.
''We cannot be in the rush to remove 14 million Kenyans from CRB as well as generating taxes to pay the reckless national debts that we are in now and still find time to be seeking pastime engagements,'' Gachagua is quoted bt the Nation Newspaper.
