What Was Discussed In The Meeting Of CS Namwamba With ODM Governor Barasa In Kakamega

Ababu Namwamba, cabinet secretary for Sports, Culture, and the Arts, paid a courtesy call to Governor Fernandes Barasa of Kakamega County today at his office in the Governor's complex in Kakamega Town.

At the Governor's office, Governor Barasa and the county government officials of his county extended a cordial welcome to Cabinet Secretary Namwamba, who was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry.

Cabinet Secretary Ababu and Governor Barasa held discussions that focused on the identification and development of potential in the county of Kakamega, which is well renowned for its participation in football activities.

The new administration of Governor Barsa has made a commitment to ensuring that the county of Kakamega continues its tradition of fostering local talent.

On his official Facebook page, Governor Barasa wrote, "I hosted the cabinet secretary for sports, heritage, and culture Ababu Namwamba at my office this morning." Namwamba is the cabinet secretary for sports, heritage, and culture.

According to Governor Barasa, "My administration would engage with the national government to find and foster talents inside Kakamega county."

In addition to being present was Innocent Mugabe, a member of parliament for the constituency of Likuyani, as well as other elected officials from the county.

Cabinet Secretary Namwamba has been traveling all over the country in order to investigate the current state of the stadiums located in various counties.
